The Allgarve Golf Academy was born out of the need to meet the needs of our clients. João Tomáz, our Head Pro Coach, has been a teaching professional certified by the Portuguese Golf Federation since 2013. In addition to his teaching skills, he is the only professional in Portugal to hold the title of Fitting Specialist from the Golf Fitting Academy in Spain. He is also trained in motion analysis and the psychological aspects of the sport, making him fully equipped to work with golfers of all levels. 

"After so many years teaching golf, the idea arose to offer players what I would have liked to find when I was a player myself: specialized training, training plans prescribed between lessons, and specific exercises to improve motor coordination for golf. More than just a service provider, the goal is to find in the golf professional someone who helps keep us focused on the sport and our training.
